

Raymond (Ray) Fletcher Griffiths, age 45, passed away peacefully on Tuesday May 27th, 2025, at his home in Jacksonville, Fl. Raymond was born on February 6, 1980, in East Stroudsburg, Pa. Raymond was the cherished son of Thomas (Tom) and Michelle (Shelley) Griffiths of Orlando Fl. And brother of Julia Ann Griffiths of Naples, Fl.
Raymond is survived by his father Tom Griffiths and mother Shelley Griffiths, sister Julia Ann Griffiths and son Thomas (Tommy) Jon Griffiths. Aunts and Uncles, Cindy and Jim Reese, Beth and Russell Jones, Paula Fletcher, Janie Griffiths and Great Aunt Mary Fletcher- Webster.
Cousins, Joshua, Brittany, and Reagan Reese, Jeremy and Samille Reese, Michael Jones , Tonya Caisse and Nicole Caisse-Wells, Barry, Lyndsey and Morgan Griffiths, Tommy, Robyn, Isobel and Aiden Pintchuck and many loving friends.
Raymond was preceded in death by his grandparents, Raymond and Annette Fletcher, Edgar and Harriet Griffiths, Uncles Nick Caisse and Gilbert Griffiths, Aunt Ruth Ann Pintchuck and twin nieces Morgan and Michelle Griffiths.
A Catholic funeral mass will be held on Friday June 20, 2025, at Holy Family Catholic Church, at 5125 S. Apopka-Vineland Road, Orlando, Fl. 32819 at 11:00 am. His internment will immediately follow the mass at Woodlawn Cemetery in Gotha FL. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Riverside Tradition House, 2911 Riverside Avenue, Jacksonville, FL. 32205, or the Jacksonville Speech and Hearing Center, 1010 N. Davis St. Suites 101 and 104, Jacksonville, FL. 32209.
Raymond graduated from Eden Prairie High School in Eden Prairie, MN. in 1998. He attended the University of Minnesota and was a member of the ATO fraternity. Ray graduated from the Florida State College in Jacksonville, FL. with a Bachelor of Applied Sciences in Computer Systems Networking in 2022. Raymond was a technology systems specialist in the midst of completing and receiving his final Cisco Networking Certification.
Raymond worked for the Jacksonville Speech and Hearing non-profit group as an information and technology specialist for the past 7 years where he provided technological support, training and business processes to the organization. He was passionate about his technology career filled with challenges and opportunities especially as a network engineer.
Raymond enjoyed the outdoors and recreational activities with friends including days at the beach and pool swimming, kayaking and bowling, frequent visits to the horse farm and complex puzzle solving. Ray enjoyed the shooting range and instructing friends to shoot as well.
Raymond was loving and kindhearted and was a loyal friend. Ray spent many hours donating his time and talents to the activities of several non-profit groups and organizations.
Ray served as a sponsor and counselor to several friends throughout his own and their own personal journeys. Ray always spoke with love about his own selfless, giving sponsors and trusted confidants.
Raymond will be remembered by his family and all who knew him as a compassionate, fun-loving person who influenced many lives. He was always quick with a unique sense of humor and wit and provided much laughter at all our family gatherings.
Raymond had a kind soul and huge tender heart that touched so many people. He loved his family and friends with gusto and loyalty. When Ray gave you a hug he put his whole heart, and 6’5” body and soul into that hug!
Raymond loved traditions and family history and enjoyed listening to and retelling stories shared by his grandparents and extended family. He very much loved his son Thomas Jon (Tommy) and prayed daily for his divine protection, happiness and success.
We were all so blessed to have Ray in our lives, family and friends alike, for 45 precious years. Raymond fought a good fight for many years and now rests in the loving arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
