Rebekah Marie Purvis

Rebekah Marie Purvis, "Bekah", passed away on August 30th, 2021 in Clermont, FL. Born on March 31st, 1999 in Hollywood, Florida, Bekah was creative, spontaneous and simply unforgettable. She created a lifetime of memories in her 22 years. She loved country music, Dunkin’ Donuts, pickup trucks, fishing and hunting trips, late night video games with her siblings, going out with friends, and rescuing and fostering animals.

Bekah will be greatly missed for so many things, including her generous heart, hilarious sense of humor, and ability to light up any room that she walked into.

Bekah leaves behind a little family that she built, including her loving significant other Tyler Braswell, their dog Chief, and cats Norman & Stella.

She is survived by her parents, Christina Marie Chowdhary and Sajeel A. Chowdhary (step-father) and Eric Charles Purvis (father); by her older brother Joshua Anthony Purvis and younger siblings, Sarah Michelle Purvis, Shaun Sajeel Chowdhary, and Ariellah Grace Chowdhary; by her grandparents Jerry L. and Miriam G. Hale and grandparents Kimbell P. and Estela Purvis, and by loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

In keeping with Rebekah's generous spirit, it was her decision to be an organ donor so that others may live. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday, September 12th, 2021, at 3 p.m. at the Woodlawn Memorial Park in Gotha, Florida.
