Rex A. Ammerman, 64 of Fern Park, FL passed away on December 16, 2011. He was born February 4, 1947, in Altoona, PA, son of Thomas and Grace Ammerman. Rex was THE BEST brother, father and all-round wonder person that he could be. He set the example for a healthy lifestyle, had an extraordinary spirit, a gentle and kind soul, a loving and forgiving heart, and lived a good life.
Rex was a retired engineer and proudly served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict. He loved to ride his bicycle and was a skilled woodworker. Rex is survived by his brothers: Max Ammerman of Orlando and Jon Ammerman of Evansville, IN; his sister, Lu Ann Perez of Ada, MI; his step-son, Thomas Donnelly of Houston, TX; his step-daughter, Wendelyn Donnelly Goodrich of Deltona, FL and 2 step grandchildren: Savannah Goodrich and Ashley Donnelly of Deltona, FL.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, Dec. 30 at 10 AM in the chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home.
