Robert "Bob" Bennett, 77, of Clermont, Florida passed away peacefully on June 18, 2014 at the Mike Conley Cornerstone Hospice House in Clermont, Florida. Bob was born on December 4, 1936 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late George and Phyllis Bennett. Mr. Bennett was a veteran of the United States Army. Bob was an avid hunter and fisherman and played golf and archery, however being an extreme Disney pin trader since 1999 was probably what people remember about Bob! He retired from Conrail after 40 years of service. Bob is preceded in death by his parents, George and Phyllis Bennett; sons, Robert and Paul Bennett and brother, Stanley "Sandy" Bennett. Survivors include his beloved wife of 46 years, Carol; son, David Bennett; brother, George "G" Bennett; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Mike Conley Cornerstone Hospice House. Arrangements under the direction of Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home, Gotha, FL.
