He was born in Oviedo, Florida on October 9, 1936 and has been a life long resident of Central Florida.
He graduated from Oviedo High School and married Doris Brehm in 1954. he worked for Hammock Brothers Roofing and enjoyed fishing and playing pool.
He is survived by his wife, Doris; children, Debra Richardson, Robert J. Boatwright, Jr., Ina Zino and Dorothy Roche; 7 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren and 1 great great great granddaughter.
A visitation for Robert will be held Wednesday, March 22, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, March 22, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734. A committal service will occur Wednesday, March 22, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734.
