Robert W. Wald

Robert W. Wald went home to be with the Lord on Friday April 9th, 2021. Robert was born on March 11th, 1934 in Sheldahl, Iowa to Roscoe and Lillian Wald. Robert was a manager for AT&T for 29 years and was a member of St. Lukes United Methodist church in Orlando Florida. Robert was a retired Lt. Colonel in the US Army Reserves.

He enjoyed golf, boating, dancing, and jazz. He was devoted to his family, community, and country. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, sister Bonita, wife Dessel, daughter Daphne, and grand-daughter Danielle. He is survived by his son David and daughter Diane Wald both residing in Marietta, GA. His grandchildren Sarah Owen, Kaitlyn and Michelle Hboubati. Also, four great grandchildren Connor, Jack, Amelia and Benjamin. His sister Joan Scott of Macedonia Iowa, niece Elizabeth Perales of Council Bluffs, Iowa and three great nieces and their families.

A gathering will be held on Sunday, April 18th from 10 to 11AM followed by a Memorial service at 11AM at Woodlawn Funeral Home 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road Gotha, Florida 34734. Condolences may be offered at www.woodlawnfuneralhomegotha.com.
