Born April 21, 1956 in Orlando, FL, she was the beloved wife of the late Richard "Dick" McKeever and the cherished daughter of John & Helen Wheeler.
A long time member of Solid Rock Bible Church, current member of First Baptist Church At The Villages, and retired Finance Manager at North Lake Presbyterian Church, Ruth lived a life of love, service, and unwavering faith. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend who poured her heart into caring for others.
Ruth was a servant of the Lord, who was always willing to help in many ways, whether for church events, family gatherings, or special occasions, she had a talent for making things beautiful. Through her warm hospitality, creative endeavors, encouraging words, or steadfast prayers, Ruth had a gift for making those around her feel loved and valued. She had a way of comforting people in their grief and with life in general, always pointing them toward God’s peace and hope.
She had a soothing, angelic voice, offering comfort and godly wisdom to all who heard her. Her greatest love was Jesus, and though she longed to be with Him, she often spoke of her deepest desire—for all of her loved ones to serve the Lord and one day join her in heaven.
She is survived by her children: Shawn (Deb) McKeever, Julie (Mark) Adams, Kim (Brian) Bracy, Dacia (Jack III) Granville, and Ashley McKeever; 6 grandchildren; 3 ½ great-grandchildren; as well as her siblings and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and grandson, Nathan Adams.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, March 15, at 2pm at First Baptist Church At The Villages, 16523 SE 76th Chatham Ave, The Villages, FL 32162 and may be livestreamed at fbcvillages.org. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Solid Rock Bible Church - Overseas Ministry, P.O. Box 2138, Ocklawaha, FL 34491. solidrockbiblechurch.com
