Orlando, Florida – Ruth Marie (Connors) Packer passed away on April 18, 2013.
Ruth was the beloved wife of Edward (Ned) Packer with whom she shared over 30 years of marriage.
Born in Methuen, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Ethel (Goldberg) Connors.
Ruth will be greatly missed by her family including daughters Colleen Packer of St. Augustine, FL, and Roberta Larose of Lowell, and her four grandchildren, Katelyn Larose, Justin Larose, Francesca Packer and Alessandra Packer. She is survived by a sister, Janet Labrecque of Seabrook Beach, and her nephews.
Ruth was a resident of Amesbury and Andover before moving to Orlando.
Ruth had a kind heart a passion for helping others. For many years she was a volunteer delivering meals in Amesbury for Meals on Wheels program. Ruth also worked at Western Electric in North Andover.
Ruth loved to travel and take her grandchildren to Disney World, Florida beaches and Seabrook Beach.
Ruth was a member of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church in Orlando, Florida.
