It is with great regret that we announce the passing of Shirley, Lynn Cummings, on February 16th 2005. She was a lifelong resident of Central Florida and a member of the Florida bar. At the time of her death she was a mediation coordinator for Lake and Sumter County. She had previously served as a mediator for Marion and Citrus County. As a mediator she was certified by the Florida supreme court to handle family, dependency, circuit civil, and applicant mediation. She was also qualified by the Florida Supreme Court as a county assistant trainer.
Mrs. Cummings is survived by her husband of almost fifty one years Michael, her son Shaun, and siblings Max (Debby) of Tallahassee, Mike (Lisa) of Oviedo, Bill, Denise of Longwood and Bill of Fern Park.
A visitation for Shirley will be held Friday, March 14, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, Florida 34734. A funeral service will occur Saturday, March 15, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, Florida 34734. A committal service will occur Saturday, March 15, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Rd, Gotha, Florida 34734.
