Suzanne A. Cox

Suzanne A. (Tierney) Cox, 92, of Orlando, Fla., died peacefully at her home Saturday, April 27, 2013. She was born July 22, 1920

in New Haven, Conn., to the late Elizabeth and James Tierney. She was predeceased by her late husband of 54 years, William J. Cox. Prior to retiring to Florida in 1983 the Cox family lived in Coldwater, where she worked for the General Telephone Company. She was an active member of St.Joseph's Church and former member of St. Charles Church of Coldwater and a devoted friend to her

neighbors at Fairways Country Club. She loved playing cards with her friends. She was very outgoing and competitive in every activity she participated in. She loved playing golf and two years ago she was crowned the Bocce Ball Queen where she lived. She and Bill loved to dance and they will now be in each other's arms once again dancing to the Lord's Symphony.

She is survived by her six loving children, Maureen (Roy) Martin of Elkhart, Ind., Brian (Lynn) Cox of Kentwood, Suzanne Vannasdale of Columbus, Ohio, Eugene Ladd (Kappi) Cox of Coldwater, Kevin (Candy) Cox of Coldwater, Joellen (Albert) Feldbauer of Coldwater. She was blessed with 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Helen (Cox) Lothamer, and her 14 nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Madonna Cox, sisters Helen (Tierney) Dugan, Julie (Tierney) Wood and brother James Tierney whom she loved dearly along with all her surviving nieces and nephews.

A Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1501 N. Alafaya Trail, Orlando, Fla., with burial to follow directly after at Woodlawn Cemetery, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Rd.,Gotha, Fla., where she will be laid to rest with her beloved
