Terrence "Terry" Matthews, 47, of Gotha, Florida passed away on May 14, 2012 at Health Central in Ocoee, Florida. Terry was born in Sebring, Florida on August 12, 1964 to Theodore D. and Geraldine (Newsome) Matthews. He was a correctional officer who enjoyed watching movies, fishing and watching sports. He is survived by his daughter, Tonita M. McGowan; mother, Geraldine Matthews; brother, Edwin Newsome; sisters, Cynthia Roberts, Vera Huggins, Mattie Jackson, Rena Matthews, Rosa Petterson, Sandra Matthews and Felicia Jones.
