Terry Brent Jones, age 59, passed away peacefully on August 8th, 2018.
Born in Ashtabula, Ohio, raised in Ramsey, NJ and Orlando, FL.
He was the youngest of three children. He graduated from West Orange High School Class of 1977 and was awarded an athletic scholarship, attending Valencia Community College.
One of his first jobs was with Seaworld of Orlando, working beside his mother, Shirley and father, James. Universal of Orlando was in its construction phase in 1989 when Terry joined the irrigation team. Always one of the guys through his 29 years of service, Terry's dedication to his work earned him the respect of his coworkers and supervisors alike. He achieved the position, Supervisor of Irrigation.
Terry is survived by his two sons, Hunter Jones of Austin, TX and Airman Dalton Jones of Clovis, NM; his brother John Jones with his wife Theresa Jones of Orlando, FL; sister Julie Doncoes with her husband Ronald Doncoes of Pompton Lakes, NJ; nephews Dale and Michael Jones, their wives, two great nieces and 2 great nephews.
He will be missed by family, friends, neighbors and coworkers who will always remember his laugh and infectious smile.
A Celebration of Terry's Life will be held on August 16th, 2018 at 7:30pm, with doors opening at 7:00pm
in the Meadows Room at Woodlawn Memorial Park and Funeral Home 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road Gotha, FL 34734.
