Theresa L. Hamburg

passed away Tuesday, May1st. She was born August 10, 1928 in Pascagoula, Ms. She moved from Mississippi to Florida, then Georgia and Alabama before returning to Orlando in the early 1960s. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend, Betty retired from Teamsters Local 385, Orlando, FL. She was also a member of the Teamsters and the IBEW Electrician Retirees clubs and the St Pauls Presbyterian Church of Ocoee.

Theresa is survived by daughters, Kay (Terry) West, Carol (Jr.) Crosby, son Jeff (Eugenia) Hamburg, daughter in law Linda Perkins, grandchildren Roger Wilson, Dustin West, Brittany Turner, Cody West, Roxxe Perkins, 5 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, sister Pat Walb, brothers Charles and Jim Ellis.

Preceded in death by husband Robert, son Ray Perkins, daughter Cheryl Wilson and brother Robert Wiesemeyer.

Visitation will be held on Saturday May 5th from 4:30 – 6:00pm at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Gotha, Fl. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, May 6th at 10:00am, Woodlawn Memorial Park. A gathering of family & friends will immediately follow at the Hamburg family home.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or VITAS Hospice Charitable Fund.
