

from Pancreatic Cancer, May 1, 2020 at
her residence. She was born December 30,
1946 in Cayey, Puerto Rico. The daughter
of Rufino Cartagena and Cecilia Rivera Colon.
Virginia graduated from high school in
Puerto Rico and Nursing School in Florida
Following graduation, she worked at
Nursing Homes, Hospitals and Private
Home Care.
Virginia married in 1964 to Felix Ramos
in Cidra, Puerto Rico. Later becoming a
widow due to a car accident taking her first
husbands life. In 1991 she married Luis Santos,
and they settled in Ocoee, Florida. Mr. and Mrs.
Santos celebrated 29 years of marriage
in August of 2019.
Virginia was a loyal donor to several
Charity groups such as the Children’s
Hospital, American Legion, ASPCA
and other charity groups close
to her heart.
Predeceased by a sister, Aida Torres.
Surviving in addition to her sister are
her brothers Benjamin Cartagena,
Berto Cartagena, Miguel Torress,
and Manuel Torres of Puerto Rico and
New Jersey.
Survivors son's and daughters
Felix Ramos (wife, Edith Ramos),
Yvette Fintland (husband, Robert Fintland)
Jose Ramos, Grizayda Caraballo
and Ricardo Hernandez. Also,
adopted son Carlos Santos and daughter
Briana Santos. Step Children: Luis Jr. Santos,
Tiana Santos, David Santos.
Viewing will be held at 11 a.m. Friday,
May 8th, at Woodlawn Memorial Park &
Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Rd.
Gotha, FL.
In place of service for extended family and
friends a celebration of life will be held at the
residential address 3450 Weber Rd,
Malabar, FL starting at 12:30 pm.
