He adored his family and his career with the Orange County Public Works Department as Senior Surveyor and Mapper.
He is preceded in death by his father, Walter H. Eggerton, Sr. and nephew, William Scott Griswold.
Survivors include his loving wife of 27 years Terri; children, Johnny Anthony Bentley, Amy Beth Silva (Daniel) and Jennifer Cheri Nathe (Jeff); siblings, Jennifer Wyatt (Jerry), Martha Garcia, and Max Eggerton; mother, Jacquelyn Roseberry Eggerton; grandchildren, Loreley Grace, Alyssa, Jacob, Juliana, and Jaxon; sister-in-law Tammi Griswold, and brother-in-law, Tony Houk.
