Wanda L. Hatley

Wanda L. Hatley of Windermere, Florida passed away Thursday, June 22, 2023, at the age of 90. She was born in Lafe, Arkansas on October 8, 1932. Wanda received a 2 year business degree after high school. She was married to the late James R. Hatley. They were childhood sweethearts and were married for 70 years. After they were married, Wanda worked for the Upjohn Company in Kalamazoo, Michigan, where she was an executive secretary for a chemist. They moved to Florida in 1976 and she and James owned and operated Hatley Pest Control, Inc, located in Winter Garden for 25 years. Wanda loved her family, cooking, gardening, reading, and all babies. Survivors include her children, Gary and Steve Hatley, Sandy and husband Mark Phipps. Grandchildren, Amber and Joey Hatley, Lindsay and husband Justin Howell, Brette and Bryce Hatley, Same and Cole Phipps. Great Granddaughters, Emma George and Maci Howell. Goodnight, dear Wanda, your journey has ended. Your struggles have now begun to cease. Time to close your eyes to happy dreams and wake to eternal peace. You will live in our hearts forever sweet Mother, sleep well, you had a beautiful life.
