Wayne Brian Vigor was born in Somerville, N.J. and passed away on February 28, 2026, at the age of 69 at the Frank and Helen DeScipio House House in Tavares, Florida after a short illness.
Born to William Vigor Sr. and Dorothy K. Vigor who preceded him in death, Wayne grew up alongside his brothers, William Vigor Jr., Randy Vigor, and Brent Vigor, mostly in Pine Castle, Florida. He loved his many pet dogs and, as he grew up, he enjoyed his motorcycles and Mustangs. He was a devoted fan of the Allman Brothers, following in his brother Bill's footsteps and later became enamored with G'Mule, attending many of their shows.
He joined in the ServCo business, in his teen years and worked side by side with his father who started the company in 1963. He later moved to Georgia to spread his wings and learn new skills but returned to ServCo in 1994 taking over the business when his father became ill and passed He grew the business significantly and later sold the company in 2019, 56 years after his father started ServCo. He took great pride in the growth of the business over the years and did it his way, always!
He was a devoted husband to Eva Vigor, a proud father to Lyndi Smith, and a loving grandfather to Jaxson Smith. He also cherished his role as stepfather to Omar Surillo and Ricardo Surillo.
He will be remembered for his big smile, laugh, his strength, loyalty, and deep love for his family.
