He received his BS in Fruit Crops and MS Soil Science from the University of Florida.
Blossom married Dorothy Eugenia Prince on November 10, 1944 and had a career in Citrus, owning his own company Davis Grove Service, Inc. He was a member of the West Orange Country Club and had a passion for citrus, hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his children, Allison Davis and Richard Davis; grandchildren, Jason White, Adam White, Lance Burguiere, Ryan Burguiere, Ashley Parkins, Richard Davis, Jr., Stephen Davis; 6 great grandchildren and his companion, Josie De la Garza
A visitation for Blossom will be held Monday, February 5, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734. A funeral service will occur Monday, February 5, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734. A committal service will occur Monday, February 5, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734.
