William E Mc Call

William E. McCall, ages 83 of Orlando, passed away on Friday, Dec. 9, 2011 after a short struggle with pulmonary fibrosis. He was born in Mt. Kisco, N.Y. to Dorothea and David McCall, Sr. He is predeceased by his parents and a brother, David, Jr. He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia; son Craig (Renet) and grandson Michael and daughter Deborah Smith (Timothy) and granddaughters Jillian and Lauren; a sister-in-law Julia McCall and several nieces and nephews. William was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, The American Institute of C.P.A.’s, The Florida Institute of C.P.A.’s and Central Florida Estate Planning Council. After high school he worked in banking in N.Y.C., joined the Navy and then came to Stetson University, where he earned his BA Degree in accounting and later a MBA from Rollins. He joined the firm of Colley, Trumbower and Howell and retired from, Coopers and Lybrand after they merged. He also did consulting with Averette, Warmus, Durkee. William enjoyed duck and turkey hunting, snook fishing, golfing at Hilton Head S.C. He was a former member of Rio Pinar County Club. A visitation will be held on Wednesday December 14, 2011 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. with a service to follow at 3:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Funeral Home.
