She was born in Cuba on November 2, 1939 to the late Marcelino Del Valle and Margo Marrero.
Xiomara put family and friends first and foremost. She gave many years to the school system which allowed her to touch many lives. As Nana, she loved and spoiled her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Devout in her religious beliefs, she shared her knowledge with all. She will leave an indelible mark on all who knew and loved her.
Xiomara is survived by her children, Consuelo R. Gonzalez (Berto F. Gonzalez) and Ismel Gomez; grandchildren, Ailis K. Gonzalez, Nicole Gonzalez, Anthony Gomez, and Amanda Gomez; and great grandchildren, Jaylen Gonzalez, Lucas Colon, C. Tony Garcia, and Sophia Garcia.
