Carol Joanne Bowman

Carol graduated from Flint Central High School and worked full time for 52 years (primarily at Flint Osteopathic Hospital as an administrative assistant in medical affairs). She was a role model of kindness, positive thinking, self-motivation, and quiet strength. As a parent, she was an exceptional and loving presence. Duane and I are fortunate to have enjoyed her in our lives and cherish every memory. She is greatly missed.

A special thank you to Dr. Larry Braver (her physician for many years). His compassion, comfort, and kindness in the last phase of her journey meant so much to all of us.

Carol also appreciated "the best neighbors" a person could have: Jim and Michelle Haist. Their friendship and help over the years gave her joy.

We would also like to extend our appreciation to the Care Team Hospice nursing staff: Crista, Shelly, and Michael for their visits in the past month.

In lieu of a funeral or memorial service, Carol and her family request each person to take a few minutes to reflect on something positive in your life, be grateful, and let it bring a smile to your face.
