I remember Dana from Longfellow Junior High School where I attended before moving to California with my parents in January 1948. He was very popular there and a good friend of Frankie Weller. It was a long time ago and it really happened.

Mrs. Doran, Dru Ann and Jeff,
I am so sorry for your loss. It's been many years since we've seen your family but my siblings and I have reminisced often about the fun our families had together “back in the day”. Mr. Doran had such a great sense of humor and always kept us laughing – I can still hear his laugh today!
I hope that many happy memories of him will ease your sorrow.

Sharon and family, I first met Dana at the Davison Senior Center. Whether volunteering to distribute commodities, decorate for Christmas, prune the bushes for spring clean up or just playing pool and ping pong, Dana brought his own unique light, life and levity to all those fortunate enough to make his acquaintance. He will be dearly missed.

Just to say we re going to miss him, as I could look out my window and see him shovel the snow away from the mail box so the mail lady could deliver our mail, also so many things he did around here, rest now in your creator hands.
