Dave was born on September 11th, 1962, in Flint, MI. Over the course of 40 years, he dedicated himself to the Flint Journal, beginning his career in the mailroom and working his way up to plant supervisor. His career was a reflection of his relentless work ethic and commitment to everything he loved.
Known for his mechanical skills, Dave could fix just about anything. His talent for troubleshooting and repair made him the go-to person, earning him the reputation of a jack-of-all-trades.

A person who could outwork anyone, Dave made even the toughest tasks seem effortless, all while never missing the chance to deliver a perfectly timed one-liner.
When he wasn’t working on a project, Dave enjoyed live music, watching karaoke, and being out and about. He truly lived life to the fullest and made the most out of every day.
Dave is survived by his loving mother Sharon Roberts, and his three daughters; Andrea Brown (Chet), Amanda Roberts (Joe), Angela Byrne (Emery) and grandchildren; Davide, Rickey, Lincoln, Preston, Bella & Selena. He was a supportive father, always offering guidance and love to his family.
