David Michael Stratton

STRATTON, DAVID age 67, died Sunday, January 5, 2014 at his home. Funeral Services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, January 11, 2014 at the Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc, MI. Pastor James A. Richie officiating. Interment at Stiles Cemetery, Lapeer, MI. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. and Friday from 9:00 A. M. to 8:00 P.M. David was born June 16, 1946, in Flint, MI to parents George and Gladys (Heath) Stratton. He served as a cook in the U.S. Army and retired from General Motors, Buick City. He also worked as a volunteer for Hospice for several years. Surviving are wife Bonnie; children Tammey (Merl) Sisk, Karrie (Gregory) Buffey; step-children Melisa (Leonard) Roe, Edward (Ghena) Christopher, Katherine Christopher, Ken Christopher, Chad (Katrina) Charles; grandchildren Gary, Robert, Brandon, Andrew; several step-grandchildren; sisters Maude (Drew) Baker, Betty Lou Stratton, Elsie Stratton; several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents; first wife Rosemary Stratton; brothers Leroy Stratton and George Stratton. Contributions may be made to the Hospice of your choice.
