NEWMAN, DAYTON DARRELL (D.D.) of Grand Blanc, MI, age 71, died Monday, May 16, 2016 at the Genesys Regional Medical Center. Funeral Services will be 6:00 P.M. Thursday, May 19, 2016 at the Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc, MI. Visitation will be Thursday from 3:00 to 6:00 P.M. Dayton was born May 25, 1944 in Flint, MI to parents Dayton and Elizabeth (Dow) Newman. He was retired from the Grand Blanc Township Police Department after 28 years of service. Surviving are wife Sandra; children Dayton (Tabaitha Harcum) Newman, Laurie (Gilbert) Galarza, Ashley (William) Tundo, Ryan (Daniel) Haddix; grandchildren Lilliana Tundo, Madison Tundo, Dayton Haddix, Daylin Newman; siblings Dave and Janice Newman; several nieces and nephews; in-laws Donald and Sylvia Wilson. Preceded in death by his parents.
