

by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. He possessed a brilliant mind and an unending desire to learn and grow. A deep thinker with a strong sense of purpose, Devin consistently encouraged others to live intentionally and strive to become the best version of themselves. He feared God and held a deep and personal faith that guided his life and perspective. Devin had a passion for business, health, and physical fitness, and he genuinely desired to make a meaningful impact on the world around him. He is remembered not only for his ambition and determination, but also for the way he inspired and challenged those around him to think deeper, dream bigger, and live more fully.
To know Devin was to know someone who lived with intensity, honesty, and conviction. He was never lukewarm; you never had to question where he stood or how deeply he cared. His tenacity, resilience, and unwavering spirit were defining parts of his character. Though his time here was far too short, Devin’s memory will continue to live on through the love he shared, the conversations he sparked, the moments he created, and the many lives he touched.
He leaves behind his beloved daughter, Aria Faith Hampton; his parents, Deidre (Jessie) Hurse and Donta (Tammi) Hampton Sr.; his brother, Donta (Dasianee) Hampton Jr.; his sisters, Tamisha Denson, Chanel Brown, Colby Brown, and Tatiana (Larry) Fields; his three nieces, KyAisa Bell, Azaria Gale, and Philisa Strozier; his three nephews, Amari Wright-Hampton, Gavin Fields, and Quinnis Johnson II; his grandmothers, Debbie (Reginald) Gates and Norma Smith; his great-grandfather, Joseph (Pearl) Hampton; his great-grandmother, Irene Hampton; his special friends, Caidy Trigona, Nathan Synder, and Brennan Cumby; along with a host of relatives and friends who will forever cherish his memory. Though Devin’s time here was far too short, the love he gave and the love surrounding him will remain lasting and enduring.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ollie and Rudolph Verdun, and Antonio Perkins. Funeral Visitation will be held at Hill Funeral Home, 11723 South Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc, Michigan 48439, on May 23, 2026, at 11:00am with funeral services following at 12:00 noon. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes contributions to support Devin’s beloved daughter, Aria Faith Hampton.
