

Don graduated from Flint Northern High School in 1966. He received an associate's degree from Flint Junior College and graduated with honors from Western Michigan University with a degree in business management. He served in Vietnam in 1967 and was honorably discharged in 1969. He worked at "Chevy in the hole" for 32 years. He enjoyed traveling the world with his friend Margaret Bashore and spending time in Empire, Michigan. He was an avid golfer and reader and enjoyed watching wrestling and just about any sport. He is survived by his sister Marcia (Carl) Snyder, nephew Aaron Snyder and great niece Kendal Snyder, brother Mark (Jeanne) Bohl, niece Christina (Ryan) Ammerman, nephews David (Brienna Voegeli) Bohl, and Derrick (Madison Crowder) Bohl. Great uncle to Brooks, Levi, and Nolan. Good friend to everyone who knew him and always had a joke to tell. Special thanks to his friend Mike Hutchins for always being there for Don. Found eternal peace alongside his parents Bob and Jean Bohl, nephew Ross Snyder, and great nephew Bennett Bohl.
A visitation for Donald will be held Friday, December 6, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Hill Funeral Home, 11723 South Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc, Michigan, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM. Following the funeral service, Donald will be laid to rest at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan with Military Honors.
