Dorothy Gosnell Foster

FOSTER, Dorothy Gosnell – age 81, died Sunday, February 13, 2011 in Goode, Virginia. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 18, 2011 at the Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Road, Grand Blanc, MI with Rev. Wynne Kimbrough officiating. Burial follows at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation 12 noon Friday until time of services. Mrs. Foster was born in Asheville, N.C. the daughter of the late Roy Lee and Jessie Freshour Gosnell. Dorothy was an active member of Heritage Baptist Church and her family was the love of her life. Surviving are: two daughters, Gail F. Hagerty and husband Chuck of Goode, VA and Vickie F. Kimbrough and husband Wynne of Niagara, WI; five brothers and sisters, Jim Gosnell and wife Faye, Betty G. Exum and husband Earl all of Flint; Steve (Vaughn) Gosnell and wife Gail of Winterpark, FL, Peggy G. Peek and husband Jack of Columbia, S.C., and Roy Gosnell and wife Betty of Greer, S.C.; sister-in-law, Jean Gosnell of Fruitland, FL; seven wonderful grandchildren and two marvelous great-grandchildren. Mrs. Foster was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Riley Foster, after 40 years of marriage. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Dick Gosnell.
