STECHER, ELEANOR STELLA age 86, died Friday, May 4, 2012 at the Hurley Medical Center. Funeral Services will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, May 10, 2012 at the Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc, MI. Fr. Johnathan Perrotta officiating. Interment at Crestwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 1:00 to 8:00 P.M. Eleanor was born October 13, 1925 to parents John and Stella (Novak) Wojtanowski. Eleanor retired from General Motors Parts in 1983 after 20 years of service. Surviving are children Mary Ann (Don) Schaar, Robert Stecher; several grand children and great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband Gaylord Stecher December 8, 1969, son Earl Stecher 2000, and long time companion George Tansley.
