Gladys Joyce James, age 88, of Williamsburg, Virginia passed away on Friday, October 6, 2023. Gladys was born in Kannapolis, NC to the late William F. and Essie Spry. On February 16, 1958, Gladys married the love of her life Jimmy James in Clio, Michigan. She worked at General Motors as a production worker for 25 years, retiring in 1980 and in 2017, Gladys moved to Williamsburg, Virginia to be close to her family. Gladys was a wonderful woman and will be deeply missed. She will be laid to rest on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Sunset Hills Cemetery in Flint, Michigan.
