Harold Dean Evans

EVANS, Harold Dean – age 76 of Goodrich, MI passed away Thursday, June 2, 2016 at McLaren – Lapeer Hospital. Per Harold’s wishes cremation has taken place. Harold was born in Glomawr, KY on February 29, 1940 to the late Jeff and Cora Mae (Farris) Evans. He served his country in the United States Army. Harold met his wife Mary Prince at the “Triangle”, a drive-in restaurant where she was a car hop. They later married on November 21, 1961. Mary preceded him in death on May 25, 2015. Harold loved to hunt, fish, and travel. He enjoyed building and even built houses for his wife’s family members. He was a very selfless person and would go out of his way to help people, even if it meant giving someone the shirt off of his back. Surviving are his children, Tim (Kimberly) Evans, Wanda (Andrew) Howard, Sherrie (James) Hurd, and Jim (Angela) Evans; grandchildren, Stephen, Joshua, Shaun, Aaron, Miranda, Gabby, Alison, Zach, Megan; great-grandchild, Landon; sister, Sue Klender; and brother, Darryll Evans. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Mary Evans. In lieu off lowers, those desiring may make contributions to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
