Jack Dillashaw, age 87, passed on June 6, 2022. Jack was born on November 15,1934 to the late Jack and Magalene Dillashaw in Hanceville, Alabama. Jack served in the Navy during the Korean War. He later married his wife, Cledious Dillashaw, on February 4, 1955. Jack moved to Michigan to start a family and began working at General Motors until retirement.
Jack was loved by not only his family but everyone that met him, they just loved his sweet personality. He loved to play guitar and sing and put on a show for anyone who was around. In his last years and right up until he passed, the staff where he went to dialysis would tell us how much they loved him and how he would sing to them during his session. They took excellent care of Jack and he loved and talked very fond of all of them. The last couple months before Jack passed he had ambulance transportation to and from dialysis and they also loved to hear Jack sing and many would say he just puts a smile on your face and makes your day. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many. He will surely be missed.
Jack is survived by his sister, JoAnne Bagette; daughter Debra (Fred Fusco) Glomski, son Scott (Teresa) Dillashaw, and stepson Rick Walden; granddaughter, Jessica (Nicholas Sr) Stroud; grandsons: Aaron (Mea) Glomski, Justin (Colleen) Dillashaw, and Anthony Hoffman; great grandchildren: Kiara Glomski, Braylon Glomski, Nathan Dillashaw, Lucas Dillashaw, Jacob Dillashaw, Alisha Wallker, Aubrey Stroud, Alayna Stroud, Corinna Stroud, Nicholas Jr. Stroud, and Jesse Stroud.
