

NEITHERCUT, Jean Marie , age 58, of Flint, died Thursday, May 26, 2011 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at Woodside Church, 1509 E. Court St., Flint, Rev. Kendall Brown officiating. The family will receive friends at the church Wednesday 12 noon until the time of service. Memorials may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Jean was born on February 5, 1953 in Pontiac, and married Geoffrey L. Neithercut on September 25, 1976. She was a substitute teacher for three school districts and loved Central High School, Powers High School, Albion College and all her kids. Her creative spark was always apparent in her writing and she had numerous articles published. Jean was a contributing writer to the Flint Journal, Genesee County Bar Association “Bar Beat” and the Flint-Genesee County Legal News. She enjoyed bird-watching and was also a master garden. She loved the eternal motion of Lake Michigan, its sky, and God’s majesty. Jean is survived by her husband Geoffrey Neithercut; children Holly (Mark) Spencer, Heidi (Dan) Rochester, Zachary Neithercut, and Matthew (Julie) Neithercut; grandchildren Parker and Brady Neithercut, and David, Lily, and Marcus Rochester; mother Joyce (Herbert) Daoust; and brothers and sisters Cheryl Morse, Maria Scott, Sandy (Daniel) Shafer, John Morse, Dianna (Dennis) Harless, Dan (Pam) Daoust, Barb (Arnold,Jr) Kottmann, Michael (Carol) Morse, Mike Daoust, Brian Daoust, and Chris Springer. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.brownfh.com.
