Hello, we recently became next door neighbors to jon and have not gotten to know his family yet. however, I did have a 5 minute conversation with him one day. He appeared to be a genuinely decent young man. I was looking forward to getting to know him better. When we passed on, we knew there was something wrong next door. I was looking for him so I could quietly ask him what had happened. My wife seen his name in the Oakland Press and showed me the column. I was completely shocked. In the 5 minutes that I got to know him, I saw a lot of the qualities that everyone in this guestbook has shared. We truely pray that he is in God's kingdom smiling down at everybody. Also that his family and friends who love him dearly will find some kind of comfort during this time of mourning.
