Joyce Elaine MacArthur

Lovingly remembered by family Joyce Elaine MacArthur 94 of Burton, went home to be with the Lord on March 23, 2026. Born in Flint on September 19, 1931, the daughter of Walter and Dollie (Richards) Mitchell. Joyce was married first to Robert Raley on January 24, 1952 and later to Donald MacArthur on November 25, 1961. A Graduate of Flint Central High School. Later attended the University of Michigan for a real estate program and passed her broker's examination in 1974. She was a real estate broker with Blanche Bekkering, she also sold cars at Bob Thibodeau Ford in Centerline, Michigan. Joyce loved to dance and was an instructor at Arthur Murray Dance Studio. She was an avid bingo player, a passion she shared with her mother and sister. She is survived by her sons; Kim (Maggie) Raley, Michael (Dana) MacArthur, Grandchildren; Michael, Dalton (Megan), and Mitchell MacArthur, along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Dollie Aurand; Father, Walter Mitchell; Step-Father William Aurand; Sister, Velma Sayer; Sister, Virginia Potvin. Cremation has taken place, and a memorial will be held at a later date. Family and friends are welcome to leave condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
