

Kenneth John LaSalle, age 72, of Grand Blanc, died Friday, November 12, 2010 at Autumn Ridge of Clarkston. He was born on October 14, 1938 in Paterson, New Jersey, son of the late John and Mary (Omerod) LaSalle. Kenneth served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Grand Blanc American Legion Post #413. During his career, He had served as the President of Fulton Montgomery College in New York, Vice President of Lansing Community College, Vice President of Wayne County Community College, Professor of Accounting at Lansing Community College, and was a past president of Mothers Against Drunk Driving. Kenneth is survived by his Wife Kathleen LaSalle, Children Bradford LaSalle, Christopher LaSalle, Elizabeth LaSalle, Todd (Lisa) Gilevich, and Cara Gilevich. Also survived by grandchildren Claire LaSalle, Olivia LaSalle, John Mark LaSalle, Lauren LaSalle, Nicholas Gilevich and Ethan Gilevich. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 11824 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc, Fr. Robert Kolenski officiating. Mr. LaSalle will lie in state at the church at 10:30 a.m. Interment and Military Honors at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly. The family will receive friends Monday, November 15, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Grand Blanc Library, 515 Perry Road, Grand Blanc, or Odyssey Hospice, 2360 Stonebridge Drive, Flint.
