Kerrie Ann Rutherford

Kerrie Ann Rutherford – age 48, passed away on December 25, 2020 in Grand Blanc, Michigan. Kerrie was born on November 14, 1972 in Groom, Texas. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s of Finance from DeSales University in 1995. Kerrie excelled at anything she put her mind to. She had a heart made of gold and loved everyone and everything. Family meant the world to Kerrie; she cherished her time huddled in the family room surrounded by her daughters, husband, and pets; especially her loyal companion dog Wicket. She treasured her family’s yearly trips to Hilton Head Island. She loved to watch the sunrise surrounded by the simple beauty, warm coastal air, and peaceful quiet. She was extremely creative. She loved to make unique handmade jewelry for her friends and family. Every piece was so beautiful; crafted with meaning and intention. Kerrie loved the holidays, birthdays; any special day to recognize her family or friends. She loved to show them how much they meant to her through her gifts, decorating, and thoughtful gestures. She was the “gift master”. Kerrie was selfless, caring, and she loved unconditionally. She was a warm, compassionate, graceful woman and she will be deeply missed. She is survived by her husband, Brad; daughters: Hannah and Chloe; parents: Cindy and Robert Reichard; mother-in-law, Carol Rutherford; siblings: Rick (Tasha) Pyron, Lisa Reichard, Todd (Michelle) Reichard; and many loving family members. She was preceded in death by her sister, Connie Williams; brother, Tim Reichard; and father-in-law, Gary Rutherford. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 from 4pm-8pm with Rosary Prayer Service at 7pm at Hill Funeral Home – 11723 S. Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc, Michigan. Visitation will also be held on Thursday, December 31, 2020 from 11am - 12pm at Hill Funeral Home. A private funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 31, 2020. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Adopt-A-Pet of Fenton, Breast Cancer Research Foundation, American Cancer Society, or FISH food pantry in memory of Kerrie.
