Laura A. Erpelding

We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Laura Anne Erpelding, who died on March 28, 2025. Laura was born on September 5, 1951 to the late Raymond and Cecelia Daily. Laura was a loving mother and grandmother and dedicated much of her life to her children and grandchildren. She married the late Robert (Bob) Erpelding on August 6, 1971 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Lapeer, MI. Growing up in Attica, MI, Laura was a 1969 graduate of Lapeer High School. She lived in Metamora, MI for nearly 50 years and was an active member of the community.

Laura is survived by her son Jarrod Joseph Erpelding, daughter-in-law Meghan Nicole Erpelding (Lennox), granddaughters Hannah Amber Erpelding (20) and Grace Marie Erpelding (19), sisters Lisa (Bill) Bublitz, Lynne (K.C.) Fitzpatrick; two brothers, Alan Miller and Peter (Mary) Miller.

Laura’s return to heaven reunites her with her loving daughter, Amber Marie Erpelding; her dedicated husband, Bob Erpelding; mother and father, Cecelia Daily (Miller) and Raymond Daily; stepfather Paul Miller; and grandparents John and Josephine Debenc.

Visitation will be held at Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc, MI, on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 from 5-8 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Catholic Church in Grand Blanc at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, with visitation held prior to mass at Holy Family from 9-10 a.m. Following the funeral mass, Laura will be laid to rest alongside her husband at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly.
