Leonard Wright

WRIGHT, Leonard – age 68, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 in Grand Blanc, MI. Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 29, 2016 from 2PM - 4PM and 6PM – 8PM. A gathering will take place on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 from 11AM – 1PM followed by a Funeral Service at 1PM at Hill Funeral Home – 11723 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc, MI 48439. Leonard was born in Detroit, MI on February 18, 1948 to Herbert Wright and Laura Fuller. Leonard was kind hearted and a free spirit. He loved to cook and enjoyed time spent with his family and friends. He spent many years in the Health Care business, caring for elderly patients. It was important that his patients were treated with kindness and dignity. He spent his last eight years caring for a special patient, Dr. Dorothy Segal, until her death in 2015. His laughter was loud, his smile big. We will all miss him as he passes on to a peaceful place with no pain, where he will be eternally taken care of. Leonard is survived by parents; Laura and Bill McCormick, daughter; Lisa and (Micheal) Lovejoy; grandchildren; Carl, Micheal and Amanda. Great Grandchildren; Jake and Mason: sisters Audrey (Cy) Linder, Carolyn (Richard) Cicone: brothers: James and (Sandi) Wright; Robert and (Josephine) Wright.and 4 neices and 5 nephews. Leonard was preceded in death by his father: Herbert Wright, his grandparents; Audrey & Leonard Fuller. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Genesys Health Foundation in Leonard’s name.
