Lyle was born to the late Joseph and Agnes Thompson on February 1, 1931 in Flint, Michigan. Lyle was a sportsman who loved to hunt and fish and was also a member of the Oakland County Sportsmans Club for many years. Lyle was known for his great sense of humor and he was the life of the party. Lyle was loved by his family very much and he will be dearly missed.
Lyle was the beloved father of Joseph (Tanya) Thompson, Rhonda Thompson and Keith (Christine) Thompson; dear grandfather of Kristina and Andrea Thompson; great grandfather of Cheyanne, Daniel, Kyiley and Aaron; and along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Lyle is preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Jean Thompson; parents, Joseph and Agnes Thompson; and brother, Harold Thompson.
A memorial visitation for Lyle will be held Tuesday, April 18, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Hill Funeral Home, 11723 South Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc, Michigan 48439, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 PM.
