GREEN, Mabel – of Flint, age 91, passed away Monday, November 15, 2010 at Willowbrook Manor. Funeral services were held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at Machpelah Cemetery with Mr. Leonard Meizlish officiating. Mrs. Green was born July 2, 1919 in Saum, Minnesota the daughter of the late Andrew and Mathilda Johnson. She was one of 13 children. Mrs. Green served as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Nurse Corps, in the European Theatre, during World War II. She married Dr. Bernard Green in 1953 and he survives her. Also surviving are children: David Green and wife Teena, Karen Green and husband Jeffrey Ward and Steven Green and wife Jennifer Fradel; grandchildren, Sarah, Noah, Sophie, Abdulai, Ethan, Sam and Jake.
