Mark Allen Metcalf

Metcalf, Mark A., age 48, passed away unexpectedly and went to be with his Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, May 3, 2012. Mark will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Megan; his son Joshua; his father Dale, his mother Janis Howard and step-father Gene Howard; his siblings Debbie Cooper & husband Jeff, David Howard, Mark Howard and his wife Roxanne; his nephews Kyle & Alex Cooper, David Howard II & niece Samantha Howard. Mark proudly served his country in the Coast Guard. He loved all outdoor activities including fishing & hunting. He will be long remembered for his great sense of humor as well as a very compassionate heart to help anyone and everyone he could. Mark also had strong faith and enjoyed participating in various church activities. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, May 19, 2012, at Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc. Reverend Faith Timmons officiating. Interment to follow at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
