Marveen Mable Case

Marveen Mable Case, age 96, of Davison, Michigan passed away at home on Thursday, February 27, 2025. She had four brothers and one sister. Marveen was born on January 14, 1929, in Detroit, Michigan to the late LeRoy and Mable (Schrah) Cheney. Marveen met her husband, Bill, on a blind date on January 10, 1948, and they were married on December 4, 1948. They were married for forty-nine beautiful years and they had four wonderful children: Audrey, Bill, Jim and Daryl. When her youngest child went to school, she worked in the food industry. Marveen enjoyed plastic canvas crafting and doing jigsaw puzzles. In addition, she loved reading, spending time with her family and especially going out to eat. Frankenmuth was her favorite! She liked watching game shows and westerns. Marveen loved camping, butterflies and playing games too. Her favorite saying was "One last time." Marveen was loved by all who met her, and she will be dearly missed.

Marveen leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Audrey Charlton of Davison; sons William "Bill" (Barb) Case of Lapeer. James (Bev) Case of Hartland and Daryl (Sheila) of Beaverton; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Marveen was preceded in death by her beloved husband (Thomas) Bill of forty-nine years, her mother, sister and four brothers.

A memorial visitation for Marveen will be held Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Road, Grand Blanc, Michigan, followed by a memorial service at 1:00 PM and officiated by daughter, Reverend Audrey Charlton. Marveen will be inurned at Oakview Cemetery in Royal Oak, Michigan.
