Michael Francis Carrette Sr.

Michael Francis Carrette Sr., born on December 3, 1952, passed away on December 24, 2025, at the age of 73. A resident of Grand Blanc, Michigan, Michael was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Michael married the love of his life, Lisa, on March 9, 1979, in Harper Woods, Michigan. Their marriage was a testament to enduring love and partnership.

Michael was a proud trucker and took immense pride in his own trucking company, Carrette Trucking. He had a passion for old cars and enjoyed attending car shows, with one of his favorites being Chrome and Ice at the Dort Financial Center. He particularly admired cars from the 1960s.

Michael's perfect day included barbecue ribs, and he was a master at making them with his own secret sauce. His skills in the kitchen earned him the affectionate nickname "Rib Bone" from his friends.

Michael is survived by his wife, Lisa Carrette; his children, Harmony Grimm and Michael (Kasye O'Brien) Francis Carrette Jr. and Kenneth Santos; his granddaughters, Onna (Connor Alex) Carrette, Lucye Carrette, and Brynn Vukelich; and his great-granddaughters, Rhea Alex and Elenah Alex.

He is preceded in death by his son, Matthew Carrette; his parents, Francis and Cecelia Carrette; and his grandson, Dominic Carrette.

Michael's legacy of love, passion, and dedication will be cherished by all who knew him.
