Norma Jean Smith

Norma Jean Smith – age 84, formerly of Grand Blanc passed away on April 13, 2018 in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, after a long battle with dementia . Memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 11 AM with one hour of visitation prior to the service at Hill Funeral Home – 11723 S. Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc, Michigan. Norma Jean was born on May 31, 1933 in Flint, Michigan to the late Russell T. and Mary Greenman. She grew up in Flint and graduated from Central High School. Norma retired from General Motors after working 30 years at GMPD, in Drayton Plains, Michigan. She loved spending time with her family and friends, and in her retirement enjoyed volunteering at Genesys Hospital. Norma Jean is survived by her children: Scott (Laura) Smith, Lisa (John) Nemazi, Marianne (Chris) Weyland; 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and sister, Phyllis White. She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell T. and Mary Greenman; and son Courtney Smith. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Alzheimer’s Association in memory of Norma Jean.
