Robert "Weasel" Elkins

ELKINS, Robert "Weasel", age 65, of Flint, MI. died on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at Clarkston Specialty Facility after a hard fought battle against cancer. Robert "Bob", was born in Flint, MI. on December 5, 1953 to Joseph and Vivian (Couture) Elkins. Bob was generous to a fault, always there to give someone a ride when needed while drinking from his 2 liter of warm coke. Always getting food just to give it away. He loved buying things for family and friends from his favorite store Ollies. He was a loyal and trustworthy friend and a fierce fighter for who he saw as the underdog. A man with a quick wit and great sense of humor, his one liners brought laughter to those around him. He was a kid at heart and loved playing and wrestling with his friends kids and grandkids, giving them advice and direction as they grew up. Bob is survived by his brother, James; sister Marie Psenski; nephews Jason and Ryan Psenski, niece Kara Cribbs, 4 great nephews and 1 great niece. He was preceded in death by his parents, grand parents, numerous beloved aunts and uncles and most recently his very good friend's grandson (Kain Breckenridge), whom he loved like a son. Memorial visitation will be November 14 at Hill Funeral Home from 5 to 8pm with a Rosary scheduled for 7pm. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Family church on November 15 at 10:30am with visitation 1 hour prior. Those desiring to make a contribution may do so to the American Cancer Society.
