DICKINSON, Sharon L. – Age 89, of Flint, died Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at Genesys Hospice Care Center in Goodrich. Mrs. Dickinson was born December 17, 1922 in Rexton, MI the daughter of Willis and Olive (Sherbrook) Hurd. She was a member of Swartz Creek Nazarene Church. Surviving are her children, Sharlene (Gary) Thrall of Holly, MI, Kay Dickinson of Flint, MI, Brian (Vivian) Dickinson, Durand, MI, daughter-in-law, Carrie Dickinson. Mrs. Dickinson is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and special niece Dinah Deatley (Bruce) of Virginia. Mrs. Dickinson was preceded in death by her parents and son James Dickinson. In honor of Mrs. Dickinson’s wishes, public services will not be held.
