Sherry Ann Turvene

Sherry was born in Wilmington, Delaware on Nov 2, 1962, daughter of Ernest Peet and the late Patricia Peet. She was a graduate of Delcastle Technical High School. Sherry had a genuine personality, sapphire blue eyes, and a radiant smile. She had a deep love for the ocean and a strong passion for traveling. She was the light of the party and had a gift for making people feel at ease. Sherry was the rock of her family and was a selfless, dedicated mother, wife, sister, and friend.

She will be dearly missed by her husband of thirty years Ted, (she was the carrots to his peas), her children, Jennifer ( Anton), Rebecca, and Katherine, her dogs Duke, Lucy, Jack; her brothers Mike Peet, Patrick Peet, and Jonathan Peet. Her best friends Karen Frederick, Sharon Paciaroni, and Elizabeth Stone acted as her non biological sisters who encouraged her feisty attitude.

Her ashes will be taken home to the Atlantic Ocean. Due to her love of the sea and fondness of Chesapeake Bay crabs, donations can be made to the Chesapeake Bay Environmental Center in lieu of flowers to honor her memory.
