VanDerBos, Thelma age 92, died Saturday, February 1, 2014 at the Genesys Regional Medical Center. Funeral Services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, February 8, 2014 at the Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc, MI. Pastor Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 2:00 to 5:00 P.M. and Saturday from 12:00 to 1:00 P.M. Thelma was born January 3, 1922 in Grand Rapids, MI to parents Chauncey and Mildred (Dozeman) Crosby. She knitted hats for new born babies at the local hospitals. Surviving are daughter Christine (Gary) Boylan; grandchildren Virginia L. (Tony) Curtis, Grace E. Boylan, Charles Q. Boylan; 4 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews including Harold Eklund. Preceded in death by husband Charles R. VanDerBos May 3, 2007 and daughter Suzanne L. VanDerBos September 24, 1969.
