

Thersia Cade, age 61 of Flint, passed away on Monday, May 30, 2016 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. She was born on October 18, 1954 in Forest, Mississippi to parents Jimmy and Essie (McDuffy) Harris as the youngest of 11 siblings. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in business administration from Rust College. Thersia was baptized in 1985, and a faithful and loyal servant of the Jehovah’s Witnesses for 31 years, and was a regular pioneer for the last three or four years. She attended Western Hills Congregation and was a member of Kingdom Hall-Jehovah’s Witnesses on Dye Rd. in Flint. Thersia is survived by her son, Larenzo (Keosha) Cade; brother, John (Jacqueline) Harris, sisters: Claudia Harris and Arlene Wright; a host of nieces, nephews, and special friends. She was preceded in death by both parents; siblings: J.C. Townsend, Billie David Harris, Bernie Harris, Essie Jean Hutchinson, Essie Ruth Townsend, Murdice Willis, and Belle Harris. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 1pm at Kingdom Hall-Jehovah’s Witness (1187 S. Dye Rd., Flint). Visitation will take place on Friday, June 10, 2016 at Brown Funeral Home (1480 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc, MI) from 11am-6pm.
